“4Matic” Make PVC ball check valves are constructed of ASTM D1784 virgin UPVC resin. The ball seals by gravity in the vertical position and at 2 to 4 P.S.I. backpressure, in positions other than vertical. They can be easily converted to foot valves by the addition of an optional plastic screen. Recommended for commercial and industrial applications where backflow prevention is desired.
